Getting Started

If Tails, Tor, and PGP are new, budget hours. This is the order this desk uses.

The stack is boring on purpose. Official Tor Browser from the Tor Project is the minimum. Tails boots a known amnesic environment. Whonix isolates the workstation from the gateway. Anything branded as a “market browser” in an ad is outside this desk.

  1. Tails or Whonix, or at least the official Tor Browser — not a “Tor for markets” build from an ad.
  2. PGP — make a key, try a signature, then 2FA on any account you study. A stolen password should not be the whole session.
  3. How to enter a dark market — paste order and phrase check. Onions stay on brand pages, not on this intro.
  4. Markets — Torzon first, then the brand you actually searched.
  5. Monero — payment hygiene notes, including why “test deposits” from DMs are a trap.

If you only needed a dark market link, skip ahead to a brand page after you have a real Tor Browser. If you needed how to enter, do not skip the verification note: onion URL checklist.
